Hi everyone,
I hope you are all well and getting used to the cold winter weather. As usual it's been hectic here, even more so as we moved to a new house last week. The move was very stressful, where did all the stuff come from? Even so now we are here we love it! We've been looking for just the right place for us for the last couple of years but the minute I walked into this house I knew I had found it. It's a wonderful old house called Willow Lodge that is full of character and very quirky. It has an Inglenook fireplace, stable doors and wood panelling on the walls and all the things that I love so we were very lucky to find it. I do wonder if we will ever finish unpacking though...
Tomorrow is another big day as WHISPERS is released along with the paperback of A BAND OF STEEL. I shall really look forward to hearing what you think of them, especially WHISPERS, my first modern day ghost story. It's been given the thumbs up by my daughter so I hope you will like it too.
Of course I am still busily writing, a historical at the minute called THE FLYBLOW. But first we have THE MISFIT to come next April. I'll tell you all about that next time I write. And now I've filled you all in on all the news I am going to go and unpack a couple more boxes before knocking off for the night. I shall be doing a book signing at Waterstones in Nuneaton on Saturday morning at 11 a.m so if any of you are about I would love to see you and have a chat.
So until next time take care and do keep the messages coming,
Love to you all

Whispers
Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I wrote to you all as it's been hectic here as usual. Even as I write this I am surrounded by packed boxes as we will hopefully be moving house within the next three or four weeks. We are really looking forward to it although I haven't enjoyed the packing! In fact I've told the other half if I ever suggest moving again he is to shoot me and be done with it!
We are not going to be moving far, just to a village on the outskirts of Nuneaton. We did think of moving to the coast but when it came down to it I couldn't leave the family behind.
Lot's of exciting things have been happening. My daughter recently qualified as a Health Visitor and I'm really proud of her! She's worked so hard!
I've also been busy writing too and am pleased to give you a peep at the book cover for WHISPERS, which is due out in November. It's my first modern day ghost story so I really hope you will all enjoy it. We also have the paperback of A BAND OF STEEL due out, so lots to look forward to! I have done the next two books for next year and am now working on another historical saga for 2013 so no peace for the wicked. I'm thrilled to report that THE RIBBON WEAVER seems to have sold very well, spending quite a few weeks in the HEETSEEKER'S charts. Thanks to all of you that bought it.
The only blot on the horizen is the fact that my little sis has been quite poorly. Thankfully she's on the mend now though I'm having to keep a close eye on her to make sure she doesn't overdo things!
I hope you are all well and keeping warm? I can't believe how quickly the weather has changed. I've gone and packed my boots as well so I'll have to manage with sandals now until we move.
Thanks for keeping the emails coming! I love to hear from you all and I promise to write again very soon to let you all know how we are settling into our new house.
Take care,
Love
Rosie xx

Summer is here!
Hi everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather. It's been rather a hectic few weeks for me and not all work! In June I had a wonderful time at Headline's 25th birthday party. It was in a decommisoned church and the venue was stunning, as were the people who attended. It's now a standing joke that every time I go to London I have a disaster and true to form this time was no different! I actually got on the wrong train and had to get off at Rugby where a very kind man came to the rescue. He pointed me in the direction of the cafe and then got me safely on the right train! Thank you Mike.
In the same week I attended Headline's annual sales dinner in the very posh Hotel Du Vin in Birmingham. It was lovely to meet all the book sellers and a good night was had by all. The wine flowed like water and needless to say I had a very sore head the following day. Of course I didn't get any symapthy. As my husband went to great pains to point out - it's self inflicted! I couldn't really argue as he was quite right. But now all the parties are over it's back to work.
Hello to all the lovely ladies in Wragbyin Lincolnshire who I did a talk for a few weeks ago, they made me so welcome.
The paperback of The Ribbon Weaver has now come out and I'm delighted to say that it's reached number 12 in the Heetseekers charts. It's doing really well on Amazon too.
Next up is Whispers in November! My first modern day ghost story. I really hope you'll all enjoy it. Meantime I hope you'll have a wonderful summer, speak soon,
Lots of love

Spring has sprung!
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine at last. It's been a pretty harsh winter but you seem to forget all about it when the sun finally peeps through. It's not too long now until A BAND OF STEEL is released in May and I'm looking forward to hearing what you all think of it. I've also been busy putting the finishing touches to WHISPERS, which will be released in November. Again, this is a slight change for me as it is a modern day ghost story. I really enjoyed writing it and hope you'll like it too. I'm quite looking forward to seeing what Headline come up with for the cover!
I hope you all survived the horrible flu virus that was flying around over Christmas? Hubby and I came down with it just before the New Year and it seemed to hang on forever but thankfully we're both better now.
I'd like to say a qucik hello to the Hartshill group who I did a talk for in January. We had a great afternoon and they were a lovely group. Also to The Greyfriars group and and Exhall Women's WI. They all made me very welcome and it's always a pleasure to talk to people who enjoy my books. It makes all the hours spent locked away in the study worthwhile.
I'm happy to report all the family are well and our new grandson is now one year old! Where does the time go? He's absolutely gorgeous (not that I'm biased of course) and we now look after him for three mornings a week as his mum has gone back to work.
I'm really looking forward to the summer now so that we can spend some time at the coast. Do keep your emails and letters coming. I love to hear from you and take care,
Love Rosie x
